Not your keys,
not your coins.

When an exchange holds your crypto, they hold your keys. They can freeze your account, go bankrupt, or get hacked. History has proven this repeatedly.

FTX collapsed

In 2022, FTX - one of the world's largest exchanges - imploded overnight. Customers lost billions. Those with self-custody wallets lost nothing.

Freeze risk is real

Exchanges regularly freeze withdrawals during market crashes or regulatory actions. With Shore Wallet, no one can freeze your funds.

You own it, truly

Owning crypto on an exchange is an IOU. Shore Wallet means you hold the actual keys to real, on-chain assets. Always.

Built for people who take ownership seriously.

Non-custodial by design

Your private keys are generated and stored exclusively on your device using industry-standard cryptography. We never see them. We cannot access them. Ever.

Core architecture

Multi-chain support

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and major EVM networks all in one wallet. More chains added regularly.

Open source

Every line of code is public on GitHub. Audit it yourself, or trust the community that already has.

Portfolio overview

Track all your holdings in one clean dashboard. Prices, history, and performance at a glance.

Biometric unlock

Face ID and fingerprint support for fast, secure access. Your keys stay encrypted at rest.

WalletConnect

Connect to DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, and dApps directly from Shore Wallet.

No tracking, no ads

Shore Wallet collects zero personal data, runs no analytics, and shows no advertisements.

Up and running
in three steps.

  1. Install the extension

Shore Wallet launches first as a browser extension. No account, no email, no KYC required to get started.

  2. Write down your seed phrase

You'll receive a 12-word seed phrase - your master key. Write it on paper and store it offline. Never share it with anyone.

  3. Send, receive, stay in control

Your wallet is ready. Add assets, connect to DeFi, and transact - knowing your keys never leave your device.

Security isn't a feature.
It's the foundation.

Every architectural decision in Shore Wallet starts with one question: does this protect the user's keys?

Private key ownership

Your private keys are yours. Shore Wallet is built so that only you hold them - not us, not anyone else.

BIP-39 seed phrases

Industry-standard 12 or 24-word recovery phrases, compatible with all major wallet standards.

Audited codebase

Our open-source codebase is publicly reviewable and subject to regular third-party security audits.

Zero telemetry

Shore Wallet sends zero analytics or crash reports. What happens on your phone stays on your phone.

Secure enclave

On supported devices, Shore Wallet uses the hardware secure enclave for maximum key protection.

No account required

No email, no phone number, no identity verification. Shore Wallet works without knowing who you are.

Common questions.

What is a non-custodial wallet?

A non-custodial wallet means you and only you control your private keys. Unlike exchanges where a third party holds your keys, Shore Wallet stores them locally on your device. No one else can access or freeze your assets.

Is Shore Wallet open source?

Yes. Shore Wallet is fully open source. You can inspect, audit, and verify every line of code on our GitHub. Transparency is fundamental to trust in crypto.

What if I lose my phone?

When you set up Shore Wallet you receive a 12- or 24-word seed phrase. As long as you back it up securely offline, you can restore your wallet on any new device. Your funds live on the blockchain, not your phone.

Which blockchains are supported?

Shore Wallet launches with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and major EVM-compatible networks including Polygon, Arbitrum, and Base. More chains are added continuously.

Does Shore Wallet charge fees?

Shore Wallet is free to download and use. Standard network gas fees go directly to blockchain validators. If you use the swap feature, a small swap fee applies - this is shown clearly before you confirm any transaction.

Can Shore Wallet see my balance or transactions?

Shore Wallet itself does not log your activity. To show your balance and transactions, the app connects to third-party blockchain infrastructure that we use but do not fully own or operate. Your wallet addresses are used to query public blockchain data - the same data visible to anyone on a block explorer. Your private keys are never transmitted anywhere.

When does Shore Wallet launch?

We're building Shore Wallet now, launching first as a browser extension. Follow us on X (@ShoreWalletApp) to be first to know when it's live.

Is Shore Wallet safe for large holdings?

Shore Wallet uses the same cryptographic standards as major hardware wallets. For very large holdings we recommend layering: Shore Wallet for daily transactions and a dedicated hardware wallet (Ledger, Trezor) for cold storage.

What data does Shore Wallet collect?

Shore Wallet itself does not collect or log any personal data. To fetch your balance and transaction history, the app connects to third-party blockchain infrastructure providers that we use but do not fully own or operate. Those providers may have their own data practices. Your private keys never leave your device and are never transmitted anywhere.

Built in the open.

Shore Wallet is an independently developed, open-source project. We believe the best way to earn trust in crypto is to show your work.

Open source

Every line of Shore Wallet's code is publicly available on GitHub. Anyone can read, audit, and verify what the wallet does before installing it. No black boxes.

Independent project

Shore Wallet is built by a small independent team. We are not backed by an exchange, custodian, or any entity with an interest in holding your funds. Our only interest is building a wallet you can trust.

Transparent operations

Our live status page shows uptime in real time. We will publish security audit reports as they are completed.
